Rule 3. As The World Turns

In my opinion there are two types of people in the world. People that live in the world, and those that merely exist in the world. Now let me explain.

People that live in the world dont wait for things to happen they make things happen or at least move toward a specific something or anything for that matter, they don't wait on life they live life.

Now we have those that simply exist, these are the people that just breathe, eat, and take up space. They have absolutly no drive or ambition. We all know the type so I won't go into detail.
Now, "As The World Turns", how rudundant is this phrase?

Allow me to make some revelance.

As the world turns we have two simple choices, either to turn with the world, changing and adapting as time goes on, or you can be turned by the world which means that you may change as the world turns, but not as you want to or in the direction of which you desire. The people that live usually turn with the world and those that exist get turned, sometimes forcefully and unwantingly as well as drastically.

Now it's a known truth the world that we live in is changing and not all for the better. So we must all learn to adapt. People must not allow themselves to just exist, because if you don't adapt to your surroundings you will not be able to survive and inevitablly will become obsolete. And when there is no longer a use for you whats the point of living. And this goes for all aspects of life.

You have to look at today as the first day of the rest of your life, that way the previous day becomes irrevelant. Now all thats left is the future which you do have a hand in changing, if you wish, because it's always better to be able to say that no matter what changes the world has brought about at least you did it your way. and thats worth its weight in gold.

Choice VS. Destiny

They say life is made up of a series of continuous moments, each moment defining who we are and what we may become. So in all essence each moment leads to a decision which leads to another moment and so on. This series of occurrences is what makes up our past, present, and future, and in all actuality shapes our destiny, but destiny is predetermined, so how can decisions and moments effect destiny?

Now a question is presented, which is are these moments predetermined which influence decicisions, or is destiny inevitable? I guess it's a catch twenty two, but if i had to choose between all the awful moments and bad decisions to lead a fulfilling life or just to accept my preordained future. I choose my gift of choice because being able to choose is a blessing all in its self, because choice brings change, and change brings hope, and hope brightens our future which makes each moment in life worth living.

Progress

A good friend of mine once said that progress is great, but what is progress? One suitable definition is that progress is the visual manisfestation of hard work. In this day and age we must all strive for progression. It is only natural, because in all actuality if you dont progress or move foward your being left behind, because truth be told the world does not wait for the stagnant. It just keeps revolving waiting for no one being. Foward is the only direction for the progressive.


To achieve a goal or accomplish a given task one must not allow themselves to be moved backward mainly because it waste time, and time is the biggest advesary of progress. Time unfortunatly is a luxary we dont have thats why it is very crucial that we establish a purpose and work towards meeting that purpose. because we simply can't out run time.
we have to work hard because with out hard work you will never meet your purpose which means that you wont progress and forever be stuck living in yesterday while the progressive look toward tomorrow
